AssetArchitect is an educational stress-testing tool. It is not a financial advisor, broker, dealer, or investment adviser, and nothing it produces is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything.

What the numbers are

Every figure is a model output, not a forecast. Scenarios apply historically-sourced multipliers to asset classes based on how those classes behaved during a past event. They do not account for your tax situation, time horizon, income, liabilities, or anything else specific to you.

• Past performance does not predict future results.
• Asset-class averages do not describe any individual holding.
• Hypothetical scenarios describe events that have not happened, and are labelled as such with a confidence rating.
• Prices are pulled from third-party market data feeds and may be delayed, stale, or wrong. Each holding shows its own data-confidence tag.

What we do with your holdings

Nothing. The free tool computes your result and discards the input. Your holdings are not written to disk, not attached to an account, and not sold, shared, or used for advertising. There is no account to create and no login.

To be precise rather than flattering: your holdings do pass through the server in order to be priced and scored, so they are briefly present in memory during the run. We never store them. We do not claim never to see them.
